Anorexia isn’t losing weight so you can look like the girls in the pictures.
It is never going out to lunch with your friends.
It is isolation.
It is eating 4 baby carrots at 5 pm or else you’ll pass out.
It is counting every calorie that touches your lips
And throwing it back up when you make a ‘mistake’.
Anorexia is shaky hands.
Anorexia is waking up with pale skin and dark eyes.
It is accidentally bingeing because you haven’t eaten in 3 days and destroying yourself for it.
Anorexia is checking the menu before hand so you know the option with the least calories.
Anorexia is obsessively planning out your meals every single day.
It is staying up until 2:36 am looking at the thinspo tag.
It is not eating the next day because you have new ‘goals’.
Anorexia is standing up too fast and blacking out.
Anorexia is stepping on the scale twice a day and still being angry with yourself when the number is plummeting down.
Anorexia is lying and isolation and anger.
It is skin and bones and your parents asking why you look so thin.
It is deceit.
It is hunger.
It is dying.
